I don’t need my husband to help me…

I don’t need my husband to help me. I can do everything on my own.

However, I do want his help.

And that’s a very different energy.

When you need  something there is a vey different, almost stifling, energy associated with it. When I think of this kind of energy I think of the super whiny, brat, and spoiled kind of child, and I ever asked my husband for something with that energy, I'd want to ignore me too.

So I don't.

I want my husband's help and I will ask him that way. I also want my kids to help and I will ask.

But I refuse to whine and say I need help because I do not need help.

I want help.

If you really break it down there are not a lot of things we need (think minimal basic survival). We need air and water. Everything else is a want.
