Balance feels impossible.

Balance feels impossible.

When you’re balancing your life and work according to someone else’s standards.

I learned years ago, that my balance will never look exactly like someone else’s and that a great thing.

Because what works for me will not work exactly for someone else.

When I got honest about what I really desired my life to look like, it allowed me to spend plenty of time with my family and plenty of time working my business.

There was never a feeling of sacrifice, because I knew I was doing the best I could. Maybe someone else would do it differently, but I decided I would never sacrifice time with my family in hopes that if I just hustled a bit more, I would reach the “destination” I craved.

But life isn’t lived after achieving some financial goal. It’s lived right now in the little moments each and every day.

By getting honest with myself about what I really wanted, I was able to create a life and business that I love. Not just one, I get both.

As long as we continue to seek someone else’s standards or approval, balance will continue to allude us. But through gaining clarity on what you really want and the things you’re not willing to sacrifice- you truly do get to have it all.

Clarity is a key component to my work with clients, because if you don’t know what you truly want, you’ll never get there. I help them to realize this through a brief goal setting exercise during our first session- it is truly amazing what comes through when we remove any judgement around the things we want and consequently the amazing life they get to create once they honor their own desires.
