“You just have to get up one more time than you’ve fallen…”

“You just have to get up one more time than you’ve fallen…”

We took our kids roller skating last night and while it was a big part of mine and mine husband’s childhood, we haven’t done it often with our kids.

Last night was not their first time, but they were certainly not the most confident bunch on skates, but that did NOT stop them.

I was so proud of watching them fall and try again and fall and get up repeatedly. It was encouraging to see their persistence and determination.

And their joy.

It didn’t matter how many times they fell, they shook it off, gave me a thumbs up, smiled and kept going.

I loved it!

And as the deep thinker that I am, it cause me to contemplate areas in my life in which I’ve fallen and haven’t quite gotten back up… It was all the encouragement I needed to fully get back up and try again.

The key to it all, is believing it’s possible for you.
