If you don’t put in the time, you can’t complain about the results.
If you’re not putting in the time and energy, you can’t be mad about the results.
A couple of weeks ago, I was playing golf with my husband and I started to get really frustrated with my awful drives and terrible putting.
As I felt the frustration build, I reminded myself that I hadn’t played golf in months. It had not been a priority of mine and so I could not get mad at how terrible I thought I was playing.
The thing is, we can do this in many areas of our lives, but when we actually look objectively at our results, they are a direct reflection of the time, energy, and intention we put forth.
This great reminder allowed me to relax, remove the pressure, and actually enjoy myself. Which actually improved my golf game tremendously.
